At the stove. The spaghetti is boiling and the sauce simmering. Sense Ben’s eyes on me. Feels like I’m being micromanaged. I stir the sauce, causing a frantic Ben to blurt out, “I don’t want it!! I don’t want!” Turning into a boy who knows what he wants, isn’t he. And it’s nice to see that, although he speaks infrequently, he does have the words at his disposal in the event of an emergency.
Like um when sauce touches the spaghetti. 🙂
