Autism Dad: Gratitude (poem)

A simple smile

A momentary connection

A fleeting flirtation

Bear hugs and bare feelings

Ben laughing and Ben healing

A change of seasons

A spring bloom

A second chance

i know, i feel so lucky! i have a friend in LA who’s a prof photog. One day when she was visiting we went to the park and she brought along her camera. i’ll pass along your nice comment to her. one thing i don’t have is video-tape of my boys — and they’re almost out of their “cute” phase 🙂

    Hi Adam,

I stumbled upon this site – what a wonderful way of engaging your multitude of writing talents! I hope all is well on your end and you had a great Thanksgiving. Let’s catch up some time soon.
